Ramiyah Robinson

Youth Organizer

Ramiyah Robinson is originally from Kansas City, MO, but has spent the majority of her life in Wake County. She attended Wake County Public Schools starting in first grade and is a graduate of Southeast Raleigh High School. Her journey as an organizer began at the age of 12 when she became a member of North Carolina Heroes Emerging Among Teens (NC HEAT) and Youth Organizing Institute. These early experiences have helped foster her deep-seated commitment to education and social justice. Currently serving as the youth organizer for Education Justice Alliance, Ramiyah advocates fervently for equitable education, with a particular focus on building leadership and organizing skills with Black and Brown students, students with disabilities, and LGBTQ+ students to dismantle the school to prison and school to deportation pipelines. Beyond her organizing work, she treasures quality time with her, Yasir, enjoys watching romantic comedies, and exploring diverse cuisines.
